ENVIRONMENT

Unfortunately, the air transportation is one of the major atmosphere polluters. It is our obligation to be responsible to our environment and to minimize the negative effect our activity has. At NetFlight we have a strong environmental strategy, with following key elements:

Environmentally friendly aircraft

our Piper Meridian aircraft are not the most luxurious ones, but certainly they the have the smallest carbon footprint among any turbine-powered business aircraft. They produce only half the pollution of a typical business jet on the same route.

Routing optimization

route and altitude of each flight is optimized so that our airplanes provide the lowest possible carbon footprint. This effort saves average 6% of the unwanted pollution.

Speed optimization

flight speed is also optimized to minimize pollution. By selecting the optimum cruising speed for the given altitude and wind conditions, we can reduce pollution by as much as 11%.

Recycling of the fuel samples

fuel quality must be checked regularly and many times these samples are spilled on the ground. Not at NetFlight. Our fuel sampling bottles are equipped with filers allowing almost all of the drained fuel samples to be returned back to aircraft’s tanks. The remaining portion of fuel samples is being collected and ecologically liquidated.

Flight sharing

whenever two NetFlight fractional owners fly to the same destination at the same time, they are offered to share the ride. They may save costs, but most importantly they save environment.

Our environmentally responsible approach may be credited to approximately 75% reduction of the air pollution when compared to traditional business jets. The only sacrifice our NetFlight fractional owners need to make is the slightly lower level of luxury and comfort. Our great appreciation belongs to all our fractional owners for sharing the idea of environmentally acceptable private air transportation with us. Thank you.

NETFLIGHT VS OWN AIRCRAFT

Owning an aircraft requires continuous care and expenses. These expenses include insurance, parking, technical inspections, pilots, landing fees, fuel, navigation maps and so on. Many of these expenses are incurred regardless whether the aircraft is flying or not. This is why owning an aircraft is effective only if it is sufficiently utilized.
NetFlight offers you all the benefits of owning an aircraft, but the operating expenses are split up among several co owners and thus the airplane is much better utilized and thus you can enjoy an optimal level of operating expenses despite the fact you do not fly often.
